It’s November. That time of year when you realise another year has almost gone. You can’t believe how quickly the months have passed or that you’re booking things in for January already. You’ve barely even thought about Christmas presents.
What you need, my friend is a new calendar for your office. Something to steady yourself and regain that feeling of control. But not just any calendar, you understand. It has to be special. The way it’s designed, how it’s printed or made. Naturally, you’ll want to support independent artists and designers too.
Allow Creative Boom to guide the way. We’ve spent the last few weeks scouring the interweb to discover some of the best calendars for 2019. And here they are in all their glory for you to enjoy and buy.
2019 Football Calendar by Football Editions
We love Football Editions’ celebration of the beautiful game with this 2019 Football Calendar, offering a monthly fantasy football team based on classic players’ birthdays. Imagine Pelé, van Basten and Maradona in the same team. Imagine no more. All born in October, these guys made it a good month for football. Brought to you by Mike Willows and Wayne Trevor Townsend, founders of London studio, NotOnSunday, the 2019 Football Calendar is limited edition.
“We’ve picked the players for every day of the year and assembled the starting 11s for each month,” says the pair. “We’ve even figured out formations. So kick back, enjoy 2019 – as if your team has just won a Champions League final.”

2019 Calendar by Telegramme
Telegramme’s stunning 2019 Calendar is like you’ve never seen before – a screen-printed, ‘year at a glance’ calendar that’s a hand-pulled work of art. Count through the weeks of the year using a rotating laser-cut wooden arrow, knowing also that you’re only one of 75 people to have such a unique piece.
The year is split into weeks, months and seasons, portrayed by some of our favourite British garden birds: a Great Tit for spring, Goldfinch for summer, Blackbird for autumn and our trusty Robin for winter.
